The G&C crew installed the new IKO roofing system of this older but well kept Forked River NJ 08731 home. The unique architecture of this home with lake view and tree filled lot make it one of the nicest homes in the neighborhood.

The new shingles were installed with the following process. First new IKO ice and water shield is laid down around the perimeter of the roof.  Fifteen lb. felt paper is installed as the base or shingle underlayment. New IKO dimensional shingles and a new ridge vent was installed to properly ventilate the attic space. New IKO pro edge starter shingles are used as part of the roof system. As a professional roof contractor G & C replaced all of the vent pipe collars and step flashing to give the entire roof a new round of guaranteed home protection from rain, snow and other exterior moisture.  The installation of the IKO roof shingles with a wind rating of 115 MPH is the final phase of the process.

G&C takes care of the construction cleanup and old shingle disposal as per DEP and local building code requirements.  The entire process from building permits to finished new roof is what the professionals at G & C Home Improvements offer Lacey Township and all Ocean County homeowners.
